Both young people and adults alike that use it in large numbers for a wide range of activities, perceive the Winlaton Centre as a welcoming and friendly place.

The management of the centre is administered through a democratically elected Committee comprising local people, council representatives and elected members of the Ward.

The staff, volunteers and Management Committee constantly strive to find innovative and exciting ways of providing services that meet local need and are particularly proud of the reputation they have established for co-operative and partnership working with other agencies in the area.

Programmes are carefully monitored, evaluated and reviewed annually in order to assess not only the changing needs of the population but also the hidden needs of the locality.

Our building is well appointed, attractive, totally accessible, and flexible and already has a range of facilities in existence which can be deployed to provide a high quality service at very little set-up cost, and in a very short time.

We have a large purpose hall (with a stage area), a sports hall, a lounge area (with a garden), a games/ refreshments area, a computer suite (with Internet connection), a photographic darkroom, kitchen facilities and extensive external areas instantly available, and the capacity to provide a workshop/craft room if desired.
